Kell Gate Green – A reminder that whilst this lovely green space is open to the public the pollution in Stainton Beck is still exists. Please take notice of the warning signs, keep out of the watercourse, and keep dogs on a lead. A recent water analysis reveals the pollution issue in the beck is as bad as ever.

FOODBANK

For many years now Stainton Church has been collecting contributions of non-perishable foodstuffs for the Middlesbrough Foodbank. There has been a lull in donations since the beginning of the Covid19 lockdown, but we have recently started to gather people’s generous donations again which I shall take to the Foodbank at St Barnabas’ Church, Linthorpe.

We invite everyone who would like to help the Foodbank – the need for Foodbank support is greater than ever – to deliver their kind donations to Julia and me at 26 Meldyke Lane. Many thanks. Bob Ardle
